Frank Marcum


Dr. Frank Marcum is a subject matter expert on the effects of multipath interference. He has performed several hundred modeling studies to the US FAA and other clients. Frank has been involved in the simulation and flight measurement of ILS, VOR, TACAN/DME, and GPS WAAS/LAAS ground-based facilities since 1990. His Ph.D. dissertation on the effects of snow in front of the ILS glide slope ultimately led to a patent on a cockpit monitor for ILS integrity. He has also worked on lightning and electromagnetic pulse interactions on HF arrays.
